Tyrese Haliburton Injured in Achilles During Dramatic NBA Finals Game 7

Indiana Pacers' star player goes down with an Achilles injury while facing the Oklahoma City Thunder in the finals.

The star of the Indiana Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton, suffered an Achilles injury during Game 7 of the NBA Finals while playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. His condition was reported live during the game’s broadcast.

While playing with a strained right calf, Haliburton fell with a lower right leg injury in the first quarter and, in frustration, began hitting the court. He was unable to put weight on his leg as team staff rushed to his aid and he was carried to the Pacers’ locker room for evaluation. At the moment of the injury, he had already scored nine points, all from three-pointers, when disaster struck with just 4:55 remaining in the quarter.
