FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Where to Watch Real Madrid vs. RB Salzburg

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 kicks off, featuring teams from around the globe, with high-profile matches including Real Madrid against RB Salzburg.

The summer of soccer is taking a new turn this year with the FIFA Club World Cup, which sees the inaugural edition of this expanded competition happening in the United States. A total of 32 teams from various continents are set to compete for their share of a staggering $1 billion prize pot.

Among the well-known participants are the UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and the Argentine giants Boca Juniors, both aiming for a lucrative deep run in the tournament. The competition is heavily skewed towards European clubs with 12 teams represented, while South America contributes six teams. Four teams each from Asia and Africa will join the fray, alongside five North American teams, including three from Major League Soccer. The Oceania region is represented by Auckland City, the only amateur side in the tournament.

The stakes are high for every participant, with the objectives varying widely. For instance, Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami and Al-Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi, are viewed as underdogs against the might of the European teams. Clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Inzaghi’s former team Inter all seek to end their respective seasons on a high following disappointing domestic and European campaigns.

Here’s a look at the match schedule and results from the Club World Cup:
