Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has officially signed a new contract with Al-Nassr that extends until 2027, as confirmed by the club on Thursday. This extension comes as his prior agreement was set to expire in the summer of 2025. Throughout the summer, various clubs expressed interest in acquiring him, but Ronaldo chose to continue with the Saudi team he joined in December 2022.
Before winning the UEFA Nations League final with Portugal this summer, Ronaldo mentioned that he had offers from multiple clubs ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, as suggested by Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President, but ultimately, he decided to stay put.
“A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together,” Cristiano Ronaldo shared on his social media.
Despite recognizing that his professional career may be nearing its end, he intends to keep playing as long as he enjoys it. Recently celebrating his 40th birthday, Ronaldo has notched a remarkable total of 956 goals across his career and is frequently regarded as one of the greatest players in soccer history.
