Eagles QB Jalen Hurts Remains Unconcerned About Possible Departure of Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore

Jalen Hurts reflects on the frequent changes in coaching staff throughout his career and expresses confidence in his adaptability amid changes.

Since quarterback Jalen Hurts joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, he’s had four different play-callers, including three different offensive coordinators. Now, with the possibility of Kellen Moore moving on to a head coaching position, Hurts faces yet another adjustment.

When asked if he’s ready for another OC next year, Hurts said: “Ask me a week or so from now.”

The 26-year-old is accustomed to adaptations, having experienced a variety of coordinators throughout his college and professional career.

“He’s brought different ideas. He’s brought a different approach,” Hurts commented on Moore. “My whole vantage point has always been to learn as much as I can. I’ve had different coordinators, different voices almost every year of my career. So my whole approach has been to just to learn as much as I can.”

Hurts and Moore are currently preparing to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, which also serves as a rematch from last year’s Super Bowl.
