Jalen Milroe reassures fans that he's committed to playing quarterback despite speculation about switching positions ahead of the NFL Draft.
Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe aims to be the QB3 of the 2025 NFL Draft class. However, he significantly impacted his final season with the Crimson Tide through his rushing ability. Speculation has arisen about a potential position change as he prepares for the professional level.
During a recent interview with Pro Football Talk, Milroe was asked if he has always envisioned himself as a quarterback:
“You never ask a zebra to be a dog,” Milroe stated.
This interesting response conveys his determination to be seen as a quarterback in the upcoming draft.
Milroe has led the SEC in total touchdowns for the last two seasons, amassing 71 total scores, with 20 rushing touchdowns in 2024 and 16 through the air. However, he also had the highest turnover rate in the SEC last year, with 15 total giveaways, including 11 interceptions and four fumbles lost.
His performance demonstrates his potential, especially notable in key games against strong opponents.
