Wimbledon 2025: Over $53 Million Offered in Prize Money

The tournament features substantial payouts, including $4.1 million for men's and women's singles winners.

Winning the Wimbledon trophy is the aspiration of every tennis player, but it comes with significant financial rewards. The upcoming 2025 tournament, commencing on June 30, has seen an 8% rise in total prize money compared to last year’s event.

Prize distributions in tennis tournaments depend on the round competitors reach before elimination or winning the championship. For instance, exiting in the initial round of 128 results in $90,744, while securing a single victory ensures at least $136,117, among others. This makes each match crucial for both male and female players.

Carlos Alcaraz, fresh off a thrilling victory at the French Open, aims to clinch the Wimbledon title for the third consecutive year after having claimed it in 2023 and 2024. He enters the tournament as the favorite at +120, narrowly ahead of competitor Jannik Sinner at +190.

Conversely, the odds are stacked against Barbora Krejcikova, the 2024 champion, who entered last year’s tournament as the 31st seed and ultimately triumphed over Jasmine Paolini. Her odds for a repeat victory are currently listed at +4000, with Aryna Sabalenka leading the betting favorites at +240.
