Bryan Braman, Former Eagles Super Bowl Champion, Faces Rare Cancer Battle

Former NFL player Bryan Braman, a Super Bowl champion with the Eagles, is dealing with a rare cancer as support from friends and the community pours in.

Bryan Braman, a former NFL player, known for his time with the Philadelphia Eagles after winning the Super Bowl in 2017, is currently undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive cancer. His agent, Sean Stellato, mentioned that the 38-year-old is ‘in the fight of his life.’ According to Stellato, “Bryan has always embodied strength and leadership, and he is a pillar of resilience in facing this illness. He has my utmost support and I believe he can overcome this battle.”

Additionally, a GoFundMe campaign established by Braman’s friend, Williams Jones, aims to alleviate the medical expenses he has been accruing. The fundraiser has already surpassed its $25,000 goal, thanks in part to a significant contribution of $10,000 from fellow NFL player JJ Watt.

Braman has previously faced numerous treatment challenges, including CAR T-cell therapy in Seattle. Williams Jones detailed in the GoFundMe update that Braman is experiencing complications following surgeries due to the lowering of his immune system. Nevertheless, Braman remains optimistic and is exploring alternative treatment options. He is now back home with his family in Seattle and appreciative of the outpouring of support in his time of need.
