Demarcus Robinson of 49ers Enters No Contest Plea in DUI Case

49ers receiver Demarcus Robinson has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI, following an arrest related to a traffic incident last November.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has formally entered a no contest plea regarding a misdemeanor DUI charge following his arrest last November, as reported by The Orange County Register. He received a sentence of 36 months probation along with a fine totaling $390.

Robinson’s attorney, Jacqueline Sparagna, noted that the charges concerning driving with a blood alcohol content higher than 0.08% and driving without a valid license were dismissed. Initially, he had been charged with one misdemeanor count for driving under the influence after being stopped by law enforcement for allegedly exceeding 100 mph near the Los Angeles Rams practice location, indicating signs of intoxication when questioned.

Despite the legal issues, the 30-year-old Robinson participated in the Rams’ playoff games against the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles, making three receptions for 74 yards during the game against the Eagles.

He recently signed a two-year contract with the 49ers worth $9.5 million in March but could face potential fines or suspension during the 2025 season due to a violation of the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
