The tournament offers a winner-takes-all $1 million prize.

TBT incorporates the Elam Ending, where the game clock is turned off at a set time in the fourth quarter, with a target score to win.

This year also sees the introduction of a Home Court Advantage, benefiting teams that can play on their home turf as long as they stay in the tournament.
