LeBron James was present to cheer on his son Bronny James as he participated in the Los Angeles LakersNBA Summer League matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas last Saturday evening.

The four-time NBA champion was joined by his wife, Savannah, and their 10-year-old daughter, Zhuri.

After a solid season, the Lakers are looking to improve following their initial defeat—losing 87-85 against the Dallas Mavericks and their rookie standout, Cooper Flagg, who was the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. The game peaked at 1.12 million viewers, making it the fourth-most-watched Summer League game in history, according to ESPN.

In the previous 2024-25 season, Bronny averaged 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game over 27 games, with a shooting percentage of 31.3% overall.

On the other hand, LeBron had an impressive season, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game, while shooting 51.3% from the field.

The Lakers, concluding a 50-32 record last season, aim to enhance their performance after narrowly losing in the first round of the playoffs to Minnesota.

Notably, LeBron and Bronny make history as the only father-son duo to have both played in the NBA. Bronny, a four-star recruit, was selected by the Lakers during the 2024 NBA Draft.
