Raquel Rodriguez enters WWE Evolution as a celebrated six-time women’s tag champion and a prominent presence on Monday Night Raw. However, not all observers are impressed. Kevin Nash, a six-time world champion, has recently critiqued her for underutilizing her physical size in the ring.
In a recent episode of his podcast Kliq This, Nash expressed his frustration, stating, “I get pissed off at her because she always works down… They have to teeter to knock you off your f—ing base when you’re that much bigger than them.”
Rodriguez, who is having a remarkable career phase, acknowledges Nash’s feedback. “If that’s coming from Kevin Nash, I fully take that to heart,” she commented. She is determined to grow and adapt her in-ring style, inviting Nash to witness her progress.
Acknowledging the significance of spending critical time on her performance, she articulated, “It’s important to be respectful and recognize that someone is watching your craft. That’s a compliment.” Rodriguez believes learning from industry veterans is key to her sustained success in WWE.
At the upcoming Evolution, Rodriguez will defend her titles alongside Roxanne Perez in a formidable match featuring teams from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
