The 2025 Home Run Derby is just around the corner, scheduled for Monday at Truist Park in Atlanta. This event is packed with excitement and showcases some of the biggest hitting talent in Major League Baseball.
This year’s lineup includes:
- Cal Raleigh, who leads the MLB with 38 home runs,
- Hometown favorite Matt Olson of the Braves,
- Rising stars James Wood and Oneil Cruz.
Last year’s champion, Teoscar Hernández from the Dodgers, will not be competing this year.
How the Home Run Derby Works:
The competition is structured in a thrilling three-round format. Each player has a set time or number of pitches to hit as many home runs as possible. After the first round, the top four players advance and are seeded based on their performance.
