Payton Pritchard Leads 2025 NBA Sixth Man of the Year Odds

Payton Pritchard is tipped to retain his title as NBA Sixth Man of the Year, with new odds released for the upcoming season.

Fans are already looking into the odds for next season’s NBA betting markets.

The Thunder are the current favorites to win the championship again, and Cooper Flagg is the prime contender for Rookie of the Year, while there’s a competitive fight for Most Improved Player.

Betters are now placing wagers on candidates for the Sixth Man of the Year award.

Last season, Payton Pritchard clinched the award, marking him as the fourth Celtic to do so. The 6-foot-1 guard is expected to once again be the top contender for the award at the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Here’s a look at the early betting odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of July 15:

NBA Sixth Man of the Year 2025

Names Further Down the Board:

  • Alex Caruso, Thunder: +8000 (bet $10 to win $810 total)
  • Brook Lopez, Clippers: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
  • Luke Kennard, Hawks: +15000 (bet $10 to win $1,510 total)
  • Lonzo Ball, Cavaliers: +15000 (bet $10 to win $1,510 total)

Pritchard is currently at the forefront of the board at +550, having participated in 80 games for the Celtics last season, with an average of 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He was considered the leading candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year award nearly all of last season before claiming it in April.

Following Pritchard is Cleveland’s De’Andre Hunter at +800. Hunter was taken fourth overall by the Lakers in the 2019 NBA Draft but has spent the majority of his career in Atlanta before being traded to the Cavaliers in February 2025. Last season, he averaged 17 points and 4.0 rebounds and garnered two first-place votes in the Sixth Man of the Year voting.

Another name to watch is Oklahoma’s Alex Caruso at +8000. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 7.1 points off the bench but played a crucial role in the Thunder’s championship run, achieving a shooting percentage of 44.6% from the field.
