Angel Reese Offers a Glimpse of Her Signature 'Mebounds' Sneakers Before the 2025 All-Star Game

Angel Reese shares insights about her new signature shoes designed for rebounding her misses as she prepares for the upcoming All-Star Game.

Angel Reese, the prominent player for the Chicago Sky, recently showcased her Reebok Angel Reese 1 “Mebounds” sneakers before the upcoming 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. She donned them during the team’s shootaround and played alongside her friend Paige Bueckers for Team Collier during the event.

Initially revealed in July, the sneaker’s Diamond Dust colorway had sparked interest, yet no official release date for the general public has been announced. The term “Mebounds” has become personal for Reese, derived from jabs she has faced when collecting rebounds off her own missed shots. Embracing this term, she seized the opportunity to launch “Mebounds” merchandise, with part of the proceeds aiding the Angel C. Reese Foundation, which combats cyberbullying.

Reebok’s Portia Blunt, VP of Product, highlighted Reese’s unique perspective: “She is fantastic and she is a girl’s girl. She loves fashion. Collaborating with her differs from working with conventional athletes due to her strong identity.”

The signature shoes have yet to hit the market, and currently, only four active WNBA players possess their own signature footwear: A’ja Wilson, Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, and Jacy Sheldon, who just released her JS:01 HOLO Footwear.

Reese is marking her second All-Star appearance this evening, partnering with Paige Bueckers, with whom she’s enjoyed a long-standing friendship since their youth basketball days.
