Tyreek Hill expressed remorse over his remarks that he was ‘out’ following the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the New York Jets, which ended their playoff aspirations.
Hill spoke candidly ahead of Super Bowl LIX, admitting that his frustrations led to his comments: “I could have handled the situation better. Instead of saying, ‘I’m out,’ I could have obviously handled it better, and I wished I did… I want to come back.”
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, had earlier indicated that Hill’s frustration was due to injuries sustained throughout the season, as he played with a broken wrist. Hill ended the season with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns, unable to reach the 1,000-yard benchmark for the first time since 2019.
Despite his earlier comments, Hill affirmed his commitment to the Dolphins, highlighting the foundation they are building together and expressing optimism about the team’s future.
