Denny Hamlin Dominates Dover for Fourth Win in 2025 NASCAR Season

Denny Hamlin outpaced his Joe Gibbs Racing teammates to secure his fourth victory of the season at the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 in Dover.

Despite facing challenges with older tires, Denny Hamlin once again showcased his impressive driving skills, securing victory at the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 for a consecutive year. With this win, Hamlin achieved his 58th career victory in the Cup series and is currently leading the season with four wins, the highest of any driver.

After a critical last pit stop, Hamlin found himself with tires that were several laps older than those of Christopher Bell, a fellow driver from Joe Gibbs Racing. With rain on the horizon and the race nearing its conclusion, Hamlin expertly maneuvered to block Bell, maintaining his lead as the race unfolded.

Hamlin commented on the significance of winning at Dover: “Winning here in Dover is super special to me. This is a place that I have not been very good for at the first half of my career. And to have back-to-back over the last few years is amazing. … You learn from the greats and you change your game to match them, and you have success like this.”

Following Hamlin were teammates Chase Briscoe and Alex Bowman, with Kyle Larson and Ty Gibbs completing the top five. Notably, Bubba Wallace improved his standing in the playoff race with a seventh-place finish amidst ongoing competition.

As the season progresses, Ty Dillon, known for his Cinderella story in the In-Season Challenge, also made headlines by advancing to the final round of the competition, further highlighting the intense drama of NASCAR racing.
