Tennis legend Venus Williams has made an impressive comeback. At the age of 45, the former world No. 1 achieved her first singles win in almost two years by defeating world No. 35, Peyton Stearns, with a score of 6-3, 6-4, securing her place in the second round of the DC Open.

Having become the oldest woman to triumph in a WTA tour-level match since Martina Navratilova at Wimbledon in 2004, Williams displayed remarkable skill, serving nine aces, some speeding up to 110 mph. According to the Associated Press, this win brings her back into the spotlight.
