Dwyane Wade Discusses James Harden's Influence on Bradley Beal's Move to Clippers

Dwyane Wade shares insights on James Harden's impact in the locker room and why he believes Bradley Beal chose to join the Clippers.

Following his buyout from the Phoenix Suns, Bradley Beal signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, joining a seasoned group looking to capture an NBA title. Former NBA star Dwyane Wade expressed that this is an ideal fit for Beal now in his career.

On his podcast “Time Out with Dwyane Wade”, Wade suggested that Beal was attracted to the idea of teaming up with James Harden, known for his positive locker room presence. He stated, “I think Bradley’s at a place he’s wanted to be at. He’s playing with a player in James that he’s probably wanted to play with for a while. A lot of players want to play with James because of his playmaking ability. I’ve heard James is a good leader…”

The Clippers consist of numerous players over the age of 30, indicating a trend against the league’s younger focus. “To be around guys that are grown as hell, it’s a different thing when you’re around that kind of energy,” Wade highlighted.

As the 2025-26 season approaches, fans will be keen to see if this talented roster can harmonize their strengths and overcome injury challenges for an ultimate championship run.
