Ben Roethlisberger Leads 2025 Steelers Hall of Honor Induction Class

Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is among three legends set to be inducted into the Hall of Honor this December.

LATROBE, Pa. – Steelers president Art Rooney Jr. informed about the latest Hall of Honor inductees prior to the team’s training camp practice at Saint Vincent College.

Established in 2017, the Steelers Hall of Honor celebrates former players, coaches, and contributors crucial to the franchise’s success. Candidates for induction must have played a minimum of three seasons with the team and been retired for at least three years, in addition to showcasing notable career accomplishments and records.

The Steelers Hall of Honor now has 57 members, each honored with a plaque housed in the team’s Hall of Honor Museum, which opened in 2022 inside Acrisure Stadium. The new inductees will be formally inducted on December 14.

Roster of 2025 Induction Class

  • Ben Roethlisberger, QB (2004-21)
    Roethlisberger is the Steelers’ all-time leader in various passing records, contributing significantly during three Super Bowl appearances that resulted in two victories. Notable records include ranking fifth all-time in passing yards and eighth in touchdown passes.

  • Joey Porter, LB (1999-06)
    Known for his pivotal role in the 2005 playoff run, Porter contributed to the Steelers becoming the first sixth seed to win the Super Bowl, racking up numerous accolades during his time with the team.

  • Maurkice Pouncey, C (2010-20)
    Pouncey was a consistent performer, earning Pro Bowl selections in each of his healthy seasons, playing an integral role in the Steelers’ offensive success.
