“Between Chris Paul and LeBron James, those two – and it’s the way they play, obviously, but the way they talk, the way they can orchestrate an offense. LeBron’s the one that controls the tempo the greatest, and Paul knows what he’s trying to achieve on every possession. At his peak, Paul was phenomenal, capable of scoring himself or creating plays for others. They’re at the top of my list for the highest IQ in basketball.”

Curry noted that it’s not just about their skill set; it’s their ability to control the game that sets them apart. Additionally, he recognized his current teammate Draymond Green for his smart play and defensive prowess.

Curry believes that if a Mount Rushmore of basketball IQ existed, the inclusion of James, Paul, and even himself would be indisputable.
