Lakers Could Be a ‘Significant Contender’ with Dončić’s New Form
At least one expert holds a favorable view.
“I believe he saw LeBron and thought to himself, this guy is naturally gifted … I aspire to reach that level,” remarked co-host Chris Broussard on First Things First regarding Dončić’s transformation.
Broussard continued, “If he returns in the condition seen in that magazine, the Lakers potentially become a serious threat. Luka is undoubtedly exceptional. He excelled last year, despite facing weight issues and injuries, showing signs of frustration and neglecting defensive plays.
“If he maintains this physical condition … I am convinced they possess the resources, and they’d have a real opportunity.”
