Superstar recording artist Jelly Roll made his in-ring debut as a WWE wrestler on Saturday at Night 1 of SummerSlam. Jelly Roll was tag team partners with WWE legend Randy Orton as they faced off against Drew McIntyre and social media influencer-turned-wrestler Logan Paul.
Unsurprisingly, Jelly Roll was somewhat limited as an in-ring performer, having lost a significant amount of weight in recent years, yet lacking experience as an athlete or performer. To compensate for those physical limitations, he played defensively for much of the match, while Orton sought to intervene at key moments for a comeback.
The highlight came when Jelly Roll received a powerful maneuver from Paul, who had previously been put through a table by Jelly Roll on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’
Logan Paul just SOARED onto Jelly Roll and crashed through the announce table at SummerSlam! 😲

Jelly Roll was positioned on a ringside commentary desk by Drew McIntyre, which allowed Paul to scale the ropes and execute a splash that sent Jelly Roll through the desk, crashing to the floor. After being attended to by officials, Jelly Roll attempted a comeback but ultimately fell short when Paul hit him with a “Paul from Heaven” frog splash for the victory.
