Coaches Poll Update: Florida Drops, Oklahoma and South Florida Rise

The latest Coaches Poll sees significant shifts with Florida falling and both Oklahoma and South Florida moving up the ranks.

After suffering a defeat against USF, the Florida Gators have fallen out of the Coaches Poll. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma Sooners have jumped to No. 16 following a solid performance against Michigan, showcasing their resurgence in rankings, considering they missed the preseason Coaches Poll for the first time in a quarter of a century.

The USF Bulls entered the rankings at No. 23, making a significant mark as they secured their place after a win in Gainesville under third-year coach Alex Golesh, who noted the team’s commitment to their vision.

Additionally, Arizona State, last year’s Big 12 champions, witnessed a notable drop after their last-minute loss to Mississippi State, marking a tough start to the season.
