Another game, another achievement for Derrick Henry. During the latter half of a recent match against the Minnesota Vikings, the Baltimore Ravens’ star running back eclipsed Hall of Famers Thurman Thomas and Franco Harris on the NFL career rushing leaderboard. With 75 rushing yards that day, Henry now holds the 15th spot on this prestigious list.
Henry recently joined the exclusive 12,000-yard club, a significant milestone as all eligible members have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He also trumped Hall of Famer Walter Payton for fifth place in the all-time career touchdown runs.

Both Thomas and Harris are recognized as legendary running backs, particularly known for their playoff performances. Thomas ranks third in career postseason rushing yards with 1,442 and sixth in Super Bowl rushing yards. He nearly claimed MVP in Super Bowl XXV, recording 135 rushing yards and a touchdown but fell short as the Buffalo Bills lost to the New York Giants by a single point.
“Brad, give me the ball.” When Franco Harris played a pivotal role in the Pittsburgh Steelers victory in Super Bowl XIII.
Just like Thomas, Harris also made an impact in four Super Bowls, helping the Steelers achieve a perfect record of 4-0 in those games. He remains the all-time leader in Super Bowl rushing yards with 354.
Henry is now less than 200 yards away from overtaking Jim Brown for the 11th position in NFL history.
