Christian Pulisic Faces Possible Absence in Crucial AC Milan Match

Star forward Christian Pulisic might be sidelined for a pivotal game with AC Milan due to injury concerns after a recent recovery.

The U.S. men’s national team star forward Christian Pulisic may miss a crucial match for AC Milan due to injury concerns.

Pulisic, who scored the winning goal in a derby against Inter Milan last week, may not play in Saturday’s league match against Lazio.

“Pulisic is unlikely to play, although there are still two days until the match and anything can happen,” said AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri during a press briefing on Thursday.

Pulisic recently returned from a hamstring injury sustained in October while competing with the USMNT in a friendly against Australia. The 27-year-old has been instrumental for AC Milan this season, contributing significantly with seven goals and two assists across all competitions as they vie for their first Serie A title since 2018.

His hamstring injury also kept him from participating in USMNT’s triumphant matches against Uruguay and Paraguay in November. Pulisic is projected to be a key player for USMNT manager Mauricio Pochettino during the 2026 World Cup next summer.
