NBA All-Star Weekend: New Jerseys and Court Design Unveiled
The NBA has revealed three new jerseys for the All-Star Game, inspired by San Francisco's cultural heritage and the Warriors' history.
The NBA revealed the All-Star uniforms debuting during the All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16, in San Francisco. The jerseys celebrate the vibrant cultures of the Bay Area with a touch of retro design.
Three jerseys will be worn this year due to a new mini-tournament format. Each design reflects San Francisco’s history alongside the Golden State Warriors, who are the weekend’s hosts.
The navy and light blue uniforms feature side stripes representing Oakland’s oak trees, while a central oak tree design on the shorts echoes the Warriors’ previous home. The font on the jerseys recalls Oakland’s theater district, hinting at the historic Fox Theater.
In terms of court design, motifs from the jerseys translate onto the playing surface, showing the Golden Gate Bridge and incorporating a blue to symbolize the Pacific Ocean. The Warriors’ traditional colors of blue and gold enrich the court design, complemented by basketball and star graphics.
This year, the All-Star Game introduces a new format where four teams participate in a mini-tournament structure with semifinals and a final. The teams will be selected live by TNT’s “Inside the NBA” team, enhancing the excitement ahead of game day.
