The 2025 college football season started with 136 FBS teams vying for the championship. The competition has narrowed down to four contenders: No. 1 Indiana, No. 5 Oregon, No. 6 Ole Miss, and No. 10 Miami.
Miami shocked reigning national champion Ohio State on New Year’s Eve in a major upset. They will face Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, with a national title game berth at stake. The Rebels secured their spot with a dramatic 39-34 victory over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
The second semifinal features a rematch between Indiana and Oregon. Earlier this season, Indiana defeated Oregon to maintain its unbeaten streak. After Indiana’s dominant win over Alabama and Oregon’s victory over Texas Tech, both teams will fight for a championship opportunity in the Peach Bowl.
