Active Home Win Streaks in College Football as 2026 Approaches: Indiana and Ole Miss Stand Out
A look at the college football programs with the longest active home win streaks as the 2026 season approaches.
Home games can feel like a fortress one week and a vulnerability the next. As we enter 2026, sustained home dominance is increasingly uncommon. At the start of the 2025 season, fourteen teams in the Power Four (and Notre Dame) had home win streaks of four or more games. However, by season’s end, only Indiana managed to hold onto its streak.
Georgia’s previous 34-game home run concluded the same weekend that Washington’s 22-game streak came to an end. Both Alabama and Arizona State also experienced double-digit streaks before faltering. This leaves Indiana and Ole Miss as the only Power Four programs starting 2026 with home streaks of at least ten.
The rest of the pack features shorter streaks that developed throughout the last season, with nine Power Four teams going unbeaten at home in 2025. In comparison, ten Power Four teams concluded the 2024 season without a home loss, signifying how rapidly these streaks can both build and dissolve.
Here’s a breakdown of the longest active home win streaks among Power Four teams heading into the 2026 season, along with notable challenges each will face to maintain their successes.
