The Rock Reveals New Orleans Will Host WrestleMania 42 in 2026

WrestleMania 42 is set to return to the Superdome in New Orleans for the third time, as announced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

WWE WrestleMania is returning to the Superdome in New Orleans in 2026. In a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson officially announced that WrestleMania 42 will take place across April 11 and April 12. This venue, formerly known as the Louisiana Superdome, has a rich history with WrestleMania, having hosted the event in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Notably, WrestleMania 34 was the last event to occur on a single night before the format changed to two nights beginning in 2019.

WrestleMania 41 is set to occur at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and April 20, with two matches already confirmed: Gunther will defend his world heavyweight title against Jey Uso, and Tiffany Stratton will face Charlotte Flair for the WWE women’s championship. More matches will be announced after the Elimination Chamber event on March 1.
