Detroit Pistons' Jaden Ivey Hospitalized Following Serious Leg Injury Against Orlando Magic
Jaden Ivey of the Detroit Pistons suffered a severe leg injury during a game against the Orlando Magic, prompting immediate medical attention.
Jaden Ivey of the Detroit Pistons sustained a serious leg injury after scoring 22 points in the Pistons’ 105-96 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.
With 10:07 left in the game and Detroit leading 84-79, Ivey collided with Cole Anthony while going for the ball. Anthony slipped and fell, his movement causing his body to collide with Ivey’s planted leg, leading to Ivey immediately falling to the floor in evident pain with his left shin in agony. Medical staff promptly rushed to his aid.
To shield the injury from the audience, training staff employed towels while players from both teams encircled him. Following an extended delay, he was carried off the court on a stretcher, his injury covered by a towel.
Players from both teams offered consolation to Ivey and a visibly disturbed Anthony, who felt guilty about the accident.
