Ronald Acuña Jr. Claims Braves Apply Double Standards Following Snitker's Defense of Kelenic

Acuña criticizes Braves' treatment of players as he reflects on past decisions.

Ronald Acuña Jr. accused Atlanta Braves’ manager Brian Snitker of a double standard regarding player treatment. This came after Snitker defended Mariners’ Jarred Kelenic, who was tagged out during a game for failing to run out a ball that didn’t clear the fence.

Acuña remarked, “if it were me, they would take me out of the game,” referencing past penalties he faced for similar behaviors.

Furthermore, Acuña expressed dissatisfaction regarding how Freeman’s departure affected him, expressing that he would not miss the former teammate due to differences in treatment received in the past.

The Braves currently have a disappointing 7-13 record, trailing in the National League East.
