UFC's Noche Event Relocates from Mexico to San Antonio

The annual UFC celebration for Mexican Independence Day shifts venues, no longer set as UFC 320.

For the third consecutive year, UFC’s tribute to Mexican Independence Day will be held in the United States. Noche UFC is set for San Antonio, Texas, having originally been scheduled for Guadalajara, Mexico.

UFC confirmed the venue change during the UFC Fight Night event. The adjustment was necessary due to ongoing construction delays at Arena Guadalajara. While the event was initially intended to be UFC 320, the relocation to San Antonio now reclassifies it as a Fight Night.

The event will take place at Frost Bank Center, and it has been assured that next year’s edition will occur in Guadalajara. However, details regarding the date or location for UFC 320 remain unspecified, with no fights announced for the card.

Noche UFC is a relatively new tradition in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. The inaugural event featured a title fight headlined by Mexico’s Alexa Grasso against Valentina Shevchenko, which ended in a split draw. Last year’s event coincided with UFC 306, where Grasso faced off against Shevchenko again as the co-main event, while the main event featured Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O’Malley, who are set to rematch on June 7.
