As the deadline for the summer transfer window nears, several top clubs are making final moves ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup including Al-Hilal and Manchester City.
The 2025 early session of the summer transfer window will close on June 10, with clubs rushing to finalize deals ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup. For the first time, clubs are allowed to officially sign players before the usual contract expiration on June 30. Key players involved in potential transfers include:
Al-Hilal’s Aspiration for a Striker
Saudi team Al-Hilal is undergoing transitions this summer after appointing Simone Inzaghi as their coach, who is set to earn $50 million over two years. Inzaghi aims to bring in a striker and a left-back, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as a standout candidate; however, he has yet to agree to a move. Another aimed player is AC Milan’s left-back Theo Hernandez, who declined the opportunity to join Al-Hilal, preferring to remain in Europe. Currently, Al-Hilal is negotiating a $20 million deal with AS Roma for Angelino.

Manchester City is nearing a deal for Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyon for approximately $35 million.
