Dia Bell, a commit for Texas, has been named the 2025 Elite 11 MVP. He impressed at the Elite 11 Finals held in Los Angeles, being recognized as the standout performer among a group of 20 top high school seniors. Bell now joins the ranks of past MVPs which include Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and NFL star C.J. Stroud.
Bell has been highly regarded as a leading talent in the 2026 recruiting class, first entering the 247Sports rankings in April 2024 as the nation鈥檚 21st recruit. He recently held a position as the 24th overall prospect at the Elite 11 Finals.
Additionally, he is recognized as the fifth-best quarterback in the 2026 class and is a highlighted recruit for Texas, joining other top talents like five-star athlete Jermaine Bishop.
The son of former NBA player Raja Bell, Dia committed to Texas last summer and has received interest from prestigious programs like Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M but remains committed to the Longhorns as he approaches his senior year in Fort Lauderdale.
No Texas recruit had previously captured the Elite 11 MVP award, and Bell’s win marks a change for the program, which has seen high-profile commitments under head coach Steve Sarkisian, following former top recruits like Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers.
