The Indiana Fever will play their last game ahead of the WNBA All-Star break, potentially without star guard Caitlin Clark. She is questionable for the evening’s matchup against the New York Liberty, having exited the previous game against the Connecticut Sun following a right groin injury. Clark previously missed several games due to a left groin issue. Should she not play, it would be a significant loss for Indiana (12-10), currently ranked sixth in the WNBA standing and relying on Clark’s team-leading contributions of 8.8 assists and 16.5 points per game.
The Liberty (14-6) stand third, trailing only the Lynx and Mercury. Breanna Stewart leads the Liberty in scoring (19.5 points), rebounds (6.7), and blocks (1.3).
Currently, New York is a 9.5-point favorite over the Fever with the tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
Beyond the WNBA, there will also be MLS action with a 14-game lineup on the evening of July 16.

Fever at Liberty
Time: 7:30 p.m. | Location: New York | TV: CBS Sports Network
Expert Picks: Fever first half +5.5 -112 (Max Meyer)
Despite the injury concerns for Clark, the Liberty are also grappling with player issues of their own. Defending WNBA Finals MVP Jonquel Jones has played little due to an ankle injury and is not expected back until after the All-Star break. In their last 11 games, the Liberty are 5-6 and have trailed at halftime in many of those instances. Meyer notes, “The Liberty are clearly not the same without Jones, prominently evident in their first-half performance.”
Further, the Fever excelled defensively without Clark, conceding only 24 points in the first half against the Aces and 27 points against the Lynx earlier this month.

Expert Picks: Over 3.5 goals (-110, Brandt Sutton)
Lionel Messi and his team aim to continue their unbeaten stretch in MLS when they face FC Cincinnati, with Miami currently sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference. Recent performances suggest a high-scoring encounter, with both teams scoring at least two goals in recent games.
