Complete Schedule and Pairings for Round 3 of the 2025 British Open

Scottie Scheffler and Matt Fitzpatrick lead the pairings in the final round of the Open Championship at Royal Portrush.

Scottie Scheffler was the leading contender heading into the 2025 Open Championship, but Rory McIlroy made headlines as he aimed to move past the disappointment of 2019 and secure the Claret Jug on home soil in Northern Ireland. After two rounds, Scheffler has impressed and has established a lead at 10 under after a superb second round of 64. He will tee off in the final pairing on Saturday with Matt Fitzpatrick, who trails by one stroke at 9 under, starting at 10:35 a.m. ET.

The field is aware that it will need exceptional performances to dethrone Scheffler, who is playing outstanding golf. The second-to-last group will consist of the reigning Open champion Brian Harman and Haotong Li, both beginning their day at 10:25 a.m. at 8 under, situated just two strokes behind the leader.

Among the main competitors, Rory McIlroy is at 3 under and will start his pursuit alongside Jordan Smith at 9:30 a.m. The complete lineup of tee times for Saturday’s third round, covering the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush, can be found below.
