Overview of the 2025 CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Today Open Challenge

Join the 2025 Fantasy Football Today Open Challenge and manage your own team among a pool of 24 leagues, each with 12 teams. Each league comprises managers, including one featured manager who faces the others.

Participation

To enter, you require a mobile device that allows you to join during the Challenge Period. Be aware that data charges may apply based on your carrier’s terms. By participating, you consent to these official rules and acknowledge your acceptance of all terms.

The Commissioner

The role of the Commissioner will be filled by a CBS Interactive analyst responsible for overseeing the league and settling any disputes.

Signing Up

Invitations will be sent via email, and registration for the Challenge is open between July 21, 2025, and December 29, 2025. The actual play period corresponds with the NFL season starting September 4, 2025.

Eligibility

Participants must be legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and at least 21 years old.

Drafting

Your draft format can be either an online live draft or a more extended version, with specifics arranged by the Commissioner.

Team Composition

Each team needs 12 players, and you can have up to five players in an Injured Reserve spot. Decisions regarding team changes and the number of players in various positions must adhere to league rules and regulations as set by the Commissioner.
