Chiefs WR Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown Carted Off the Field Due to Ankle Injury

In a troubling twist during training camp, Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown suffered an apparent right lower leg injury and was carted off the field.

Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, the wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, sustained an injury during the training camp session on Tuesday, leading to him being carted off the field. He appeared to limp after a play while in the back of the end zone, which seemed to involve his right lower leg. This incident was reported by ESPN.

Head coach Andy Reid later informed the media that Brown had an ankle injury, stating: “I don’t think it’s too bad, but we’ll see.”

Brown recently signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs after playing only two games last season due to a previous sternoclavicular injury which had sidelined him until December. In his last full NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens, he recorded 1,000 receiving yards in 2021, but his performance has dwindled annually since then.
